That's pretty horrible. It's sad that people can't even go fishing without worrying about pirates...

Things along the border are crazy right now! It's going to get worse before it gets better.

I read about that last week. I can't believe that fishermen in Texas are not heavily armed and haven't started a pirate hunting season.

There is no way I would go to Falcon anytime without being armed. Actually, when you live in Texas there is no reason to ever go anywhere unarmed.

I think you would fit in nicely in Texas! The one major downside is the heat, it's supposed to hit 102 this weekend. I have to make sure and keep the sweat wiped off my gun!

The problem with the anglers being armed is, they can only have semi-automatics where as the pirates have automatics. And I don't care how fast or good of a shot you are, a automatic will take a powerful lot of sting out of the semi-auto.

If we were willing, along with other nations, to send the Navy to the coast of Somalia to patrol when pirates were a big news story there, why can't we put a few boats and men on lake Falcon?

I believe that the coast guard has put some boats on the lake. I do not know how a destroyer would do in there.
I think we would be better suited with air to surface tactics myself.

One of the worse enemies to fight is one who has no fear of death. A couple of months ago, the drug cartels were attacking mexican army bases.

I think the boats near the border should blast ''Nickleback'' threw thier radio's....Attack them with unbearable audio....They'll leave.

Has it occurred to anyone that blasting Nickelback at lake Falcon could cause a massive fish kill? We need to be more considerate towards the environment.

Holy crap! I just read that the drug cartel down there was plotting to blow up Falcon Dam!

Now wouldn't that make for an interesting tournament...

Fisherman: "hmmmmm, a lot more current than normal....and the lake is very low....."

All it takes is a $200 tax stamp and you too can own fully automatic...

The only thing I dont like about Texas is that it is not an Open Carry state... here in the Bluegrass, I can carry openly in public without a permit...
