Default 10' to 14' boat wanted

Hello... I am looking for a 10' to 14' aluminum boat. What I am trying to do is get a small fishing boat, trailer, and small motor for the upcoming fishing season. I am just going to be using it on some of the local lakes so it doesn't have to be much. I live in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota so if your in a reasonable distance and could help me out with any of these things I would appreciate it a ton. Thanks.

If you have a local Trader paper(that's the name of it here), or even a boat Trader magazine(yes we have one of those also). They will have a lot of things listed. Also don't be shy about going and asking someone who you know that has a boat that's been sitting for awhile. They may give it to you to get rid of it(doubtful in today's world). Anyway even the local newspapers will have classifieds listing them. It's not probably realistic to try to get one from the internet, you need to look at local sources, including possibly the local storage facilities, or even auctions.(repos)

Just a friendly word of advice. Go for the 14 footer. You'll be much happier with it & it's alot safer, even though you're not planning to go out on big water. Even on small lakes, the wind can kick some heavy waves. A bigger boat will allow for some modifications if you choose to make them, (storage, live wells, etc.).

It will be much more stable, particularly if someone is onboard with you.

Happy fishin'
