Talking my new toys for the big'uns

well if anyone remebers my previous post about the cabelas rods, i had been told that they won't be up for the job chasing the pike(muskie) so i opted for something else,
and here they are............

my rod is an fox warrior cast 8ft and a casting weight of 30g(1oz) to 100g(3.5oz)

and my reel is an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Ultracast UC4601C, as i have very stubby fingers

and the two lure? they are handmade by a fella from a uk based forum...

with this being my first ever multi set up, (as i'm used to fixed spool.) i think i'm going to enjoy learning the was of the multiplier.....

Congrats on the new set-up!!..I like the reel seat on that Fox rod.
Sounds like a great big-bait set up...Should be fun.

Nice set-up! Would have opted for a 5000-size ABU though, but that's just me.

Nice looking combo, I'm no pro on that kinda stuff, but I think it'll do the job well.

Hope you enjoy it.
