Default My first...

Bowfin

I had never even seen one before! This one was 3 lbs on the digital scale. And it devoured three of my PowerBoait pumpkinseed worms before I finally landed it. Once I saw the teeth I realized why my worms were getting mutilated! It's not a bass but it was a great fight and an awesome first experience.

And they do get bigger...much bigger. Wait til you hook up with one in the 10+ class. Good luck getting your bait back or at least using it again.

Yup, I've caught some big bow fin in the canals in florida. They're a real blast sight fishing in shallow water. Twitch a rapala in front of them and they're good as caught.

Yea I've caught a pretty nice one on a worm, didn't get to weight it though. My buddy's got a clip of it on his FB, didn't get to snap a pic haha.
