Personal preference. I use a Spot Remover head. It is flat on one side so it stands up.

For weeds I would use a light round head. For fishin rock bluffs boat docks, sea walls, ect I also use a round head but alittle heavier. For rock you can you a round head but they hang up easy, a foot ball head would work great for sparse rocks!

Spot Removers don't come through the weeds for crap. I use round Bite Me in 1/16 to 1/8. I also have tried some football head ones too, but I keep forgetting I have them.

My favorite is the Giggy Head, by Gambler Bait Co. They are easy to use, reasonably priced and have worked very well for me. Especially at night when rigging a worm on the head is complicated by the darkness (and tired old eyes!) the Giggy Head's single arrow shaped worm keeper is a lot easier to use. I've tried the Spot Sticker and Spot Remover and haven't caught hardly any fish compared to my success with the Giggy head (maybe a confidence thing, who knows). The screw on shakey heads are just too much work for me and if you don't get it just right it will come out through the side of the worm.
IMHO

Giggy heads are OK, the only thing I wasnīt so happy with them was the bait holder, it holds the bait good only problem Iīve experienced is that when the fish bites and you set the hook the bait comes off from the bait holder, after a couple of fish the bait head is pretty much kaput , but I take it philosophically ( canīt do crap about it anyway ), it comes with the territory, besides, they are one of the few heads manufactured in small ( light ) weight with a BIG hook, not with many manufacturers you can find a 3/32 oz with a 5/0 hook right ?

I like a plain round head or a spot rmover. pay close attention. If the fish are hitting on the fall during your immediale cast go to the football head. It falls different. If they are taking it off the bottom the other two. If the bite is real light dont rig it Texposed. Rig it jig style. Fish2win

I like the bagley shakey head jig heads, they are not priced to bad and they are very strong, but the spot removers have been pretthy good to me as well.
