Tungsten w/ glass?
While a popular choice is the "brass and glass" when rigging, does having a tungsten weight instead of brass have the same effects?

Yep, just a different sounding "click". However, I have heard of tungsten weights breaking the glass bead and damaging the line. I usually use a big and small tungsten barrel weight and eliminate the glass altogether.

Try using a brass bead. It will give off the sound with out the breaking the glass bead.

I like the sound of Tungsten on Tungsten. Try the Tru-Tungsten force beads. I use those after a recomendation from someone on here.

I think the feel is better with the thungsten weight. I like the tungsten on c-rig and t-rig as well. You can feel so much with fluro and a tungesten weight. Just my opinion. The one in the avitor picture was caught with tungsten and glass c-rigged.
