Default New World Record LMB

This just in: NBC News anchor Brian Williams has just told an AP reporter that he has in fact recently caught a certified 25.5 lb largemouth bass while on assignment in Canada!

UPDATE...

Due to suspicions of wrongful fish tampering, the reported weight of the fish is now under investigation, due to the possibility of being secretively "Over-Inflated". More updates to follow..

News flash:
Brian Williams' crew is reporting stolen balance weights for the camera system. The cameraman is sure he packed them for the Canada Assignment, but they cannot be found.

In other news, Brian Williams as standing by his story ... that he was in the boat behind the boat in which the guy who caught the world record bass was standing.

At least he did not storm aboard another guys boat and knock him in the water after a minor fender bender outside a lock. Yeah, I was there. Well I was close. Didn't actually witness it. Ok, I was a couple miles south of the lock and they were on the north side. But I know a guy..

News Flash:
NBC News has dropped it's sponsorship of Brian Williams pending an investigation. It is unlikely that the sponsorship will ever be renewed.
On a lighter note ... no one seems to miss Mr. Williams. Several hundred young male and female lie ... um, people ... are auditioning for the position even as I type this.

It appears that Brian Wilson and Bill O'Reilly might have been on the boat together. In fact, it was recently claimed that they both were fishing with 2# test line, the bass had taken both their lures and they fought it in together. So the record bass was also a 4# line class record.
