talked to him last weekend..being the first week of trout fishing in ny you probly wont hear from him for a while..

Yep its fishing season,but not great weather, .Its been snowing enough to cover the ground the last few days, but the trout are biting pretty good if you can withstand the cold windy temperatures to fish.

Zooker, I found another part for your old reel.I just might be able to repair it once more for you. P N J

its nice to see ya toughing it out fishing in the snow for those trouts, but
wouldn't ya do better in a running stream

Roflmao... Yes you can catch alot of small hatchery released trout in the tributary waters (rivers,streams, creeks , brooks, cricks ), but its difficult to catch a 14 lb trout like I caught friday from the lake. I sent that and a 7 lb landlock salmon which I caught this morning to get smoked.It filled my yearly resolution of trout. Every year I only take 2 trout to have smoked, the rest is released.I boated 18 trout in 4 hours today, not bad for the bad weather conditions. P N J
