Default Kentucky lake get together

I just thought I would let everyone know what was going on at Kentucky Lake one month before the gathering. COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Air temp today is 48 degrees. Water temp on the lake has dropped a couple degrees over the last week. Now it is 57-58 degrees. This is about 5 degrees below normal for this time of year. Global warming is taking its toll on the lake this spring! The lake level is high by 2.5 feet.

To be honest, at this point I have no idea what to expect in one month. It will be post spawn, I think. The fish will be scattered all over. Some on points, some shallow and some on ledges (maybe). No matter the fishing, a good time will be had by all!

Thanks for the information, everett. I appreciate it, even though you basically said "Who knows?"

Are you going to be able to come? I remember you saying you were thinking about it, but weren't sure. How'd it work out?

Mississippi, I plan on being there. I will have to work Saturday morning and fish in the evening, but I don't think I will be on call. If I am on, I will have to come and visit after the day of fishing is done.

I guess the point to what I said is be a boy scout and be prepared! Be ready to fish everywhere. I was hoping to be on main points and ledges by then but it may not be.
