dang JB, the shape of it's body looks more like a walleye than a bass. nice fish though.

BB, I heard that!
The guys at work that fish brookville lake tend to agree, looks like a walleye, but would the guy have his finger in a toothy critters mouth? Most of the walleye run north in the rivers that feed the lake to spawn, of course not all make that long run. I sure hope we can get some fish tomorrow, the guy that taught me bass fishing was over there this weekend with no bites, but we all know that can change in a heartbeat. Plus any day on the lake is better than pushing steel around at work, woody n jb both are sheet metal workers, he's in a union, this job I'm at now is non union. Woody, on a side note, the guys at work that live near the lake or drive by it to get to work said the lakes not that bad , stained but not muddy, sure hope its come up a tad, I got some new areas to show ya in hanna, if we mark(no pun intended bro) some fish. |

I've been keeping a log of the lake levels and according to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers website, the level has gained 18" since last Thursday, which puts it 6 feet over the Winter Pool. Here's that website incase ya don't already have it.
http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/wc/reports/lkreport.html I'm getting ready to back the truck up to the trailer and take the cover off the boat and top off the batteries. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've found. It will be a blast! ~Mark |

I almost asked if it was a bass, but stopped myself 'cause I didn't want to be laughed at. Glad I'm not the only one that thought that. It sure is snaky, ain't it?

They come up silvery looking from the depths in this cold water, but turn green once it warms up

Now that I look at the picuture closer, not the the sahpe, but the whole thing looks like an 'eye. specially with the flash from the camera whiting out its eye. lol. but your right, walleye teeth and fingers don't mix well. the mouth's too big for a walleye too. BB

By the looks of those hands, they appear to be "tough as nails" to begin with.
