Mallen-1 Skunk-0
And when I say 1, I mean 1 lol.
Really didn't expect my losing streak to be broken, more like sprained, by a smallie. Put in at a spot I've always been curious about yesterday morning. Boardman Lake and the Boardman River. Extremely shallow everywhere I was fishing, so I just concentrated on Spinnerbaits and top water. Had to kayak through that culvert, under 4 lanes of traffic. Too low to paddle, so I pulled myself along using the culverts ribs. Extremely fast too, once I saw all the big fat spiders under there! Looks like they're off their beds in the river but once again, just couldn't seem to find em.

Mallen, is that off of Airport Road? I can't remember if that is the name of the road, but I thought you could see some standing timber from one of the main roads.
