So much rain the grunion run was in my backyard
Next will be the salmon run followed by the ant invasion.. Gotta love spring.. PS I heard peepers last night... 5 days till I start fishing.. Capt Mike

It is a small fish that on the perfect night one night a year rolls up in the surf and lays it eggs on the edge of the surf. Literaly hundreds of thousands of millions of them at exactly the same time. It is something to see and with a date is best..

Aren't they just out in California? I don't know too much about them but a friend in L.A. goes to the beach to look for them some nights.

I lived in Californica at one time. My dad took me to see the run.. no flashlights allowed..
