Default Water Fowl (pics)

Went out fishing last week in the small 1/2 acre pond in my backyard. When I got out there, I noticed some mallards and some canadian geese. The ducks flew before I could get close enough for some decent shots, but the geese were much less skittish.

Some more ducks flying by. Not that great of a picture, had to crop it fairly close...

At least the ducks were nice enough to fly behind the pond where it's all grass and sky. The geese had to fly between the pond and our house...

Anthony...very nice pics. Just think how much better they would have turned out through a nice EF 100 f/2.8

Seriously dude...I know how tough bird shots can be. Nice work.

Quality pics, BB, must be a really nice camera!? A lot of the Canada's and Ducks on Lake Allatoona have taken up year round residence and swim right up the boat while you are fishing looking for handouts!

Actually Bryce, I was thinking they'd look better through an EF 400 f/2.8L IS USM (but that's about a $6500 lens)
