First fish in the new boat
Went to lake Tholocco at Fort Rucker and gave the boat the water test. Didn't get it aired out too good as the run to the shallows is short but I had a great time fishing. Wife decided to stay home and just let me go fish so I had to take my own pictures again. iPhone does pretty good even on an action shot.
Caught 6 fish total and lost a bigun. The 1st picture is of the largest caught. The rest were between 12" and 14". This one was 16" Caught three on Zoom 7" lizard watermelon red flake. Then I caught one on 3/8 oz buzz bait and losst the BIGUN half way back to the boat. Caught another two on a zoom frog 30 min before dark. All and All a good afternoon. I only fished from 4-7pm. Same fish again less sun glare. Action shot with only a little finger in the way.

Good looking fish, good looking boat. Nice way to break in the new rig! I love the looks of the grass in the background, there. Would love to fish that.

Thanks fella's. Yeah, the last time I fished the lake was over 15 yrs ago and it had NO grass out in the lake like that. The dam busted over ten years ago and they let it sit for a few years before rebuilding. I understand they planted a lot of trees and stuff in the deep end of the lake too. It's a MUCH better wild life habitat now.
