Default New PB on my "home" lake

In 12 years of fishing on the lake where I do 95% of my bass fishing, I had never hit the 4lb mark before last year. That all changed last year when I landed three LM between 4lb even and 4lb 2oz. I surpassed that over the weekend when I was out fishing with my brother-in-law and 2-year old nephew. This one succumbed to a Spro Bronzeye Poppin' Frog and weighed 4lb 5oz. Length was 19.5" and girth was 13.25."

Caught a ways out from this dock where the pads aren't as thick as the surrounding area:

Many shorelines & bays on the lake look like this -- I could frog all day!

Couple more shots of the soon-to-be-released fish with my nephew:

Shortly after the excitement of the big fish, there was more excitement when my nephew lost his "Scooby" rod to the bottom of the lake. He was dismayed. Luckily, with a 7-foot rod and a treble hook lure on it, we were able to retrieve it after several tries.

I went out solo froggin' early this morning for about an hour before we had to head back home and landed a couple more. This one at 2lb 7oz was the biggest.
