Abu Garcia Soron SX

Abu Garcia Revo Premier

Pflueger Patriarch

Pflueger Patriarch XT (Notice any similarities between these two reels and another two? (*cough cough BPS Johnny morris reels cough*))

I will say one thing about that Zillion. It is maybe the blingety-blingeyest thing I have ever seen. A hot looking reel for sure.

i got to play with that reel yesterday..its purdy, and feels good.it was ''daiwa days'' at the reel shop down the street from work....all kind's of cool reels.....lol,it was funny,i was talking to a guy about the twitching bar on the megaforce...talking about how gimicky it is..and that it makes us look lazy.and he said ''yea,it'll probably break, looks kinda cheap''

then watched him 15 minutes later buying it........

i did get stuck on the HS exceler,....they were all on sale,so the exceler was $63 out the door, plus a free daiwa t-shirt and visor...and another ticket to go in the raffle for a free zillion combo.....you talk about depressing that Im broke

waffle, I think the twitchin bar is a great feature, works t-rigged senkos perfectly.

Also, the Daiwa Zillion is probably the best reel I've ever used. casts great, extremely smooth, and the great looks are an added bonus.

bassboss, your link starts out as http:// http//www.tackle......

get rid of the second http, the one without the ":" so it works.

they got more stuff since I made this post, didn't they...

Abu Garcia Vendetta (trigger)

Abu Garcia Vendetta (Spinning)

Abu Garcia Vengeance (trigger)

Abu Garcia Vengeance (spinning)

The Vendetta rods look sweet, very JDM. I may make one with an SX or STX my next combo, although that won't be till probably next year, lol.

Wright an McGill Skeet Reese Tessera (trigger)

W&M Skeet Reese Tessera (spinning)

This one came out just after ICAST, but I gotta add it cause it's sweet, and a Daiwa.

Daiwa Aggrest

This one came out just after ICAST as well.

Shimano Core 50Mg

Those Abu rods are very interesting. Hopefully, Gander or Dick's will get some in. I totally laugh at their claim about it being "matched to the specs of the Revo reels" though. That is patently absurd. Even the Revo's don't all weigh the same, so how can they be matched? (Weight is the only spec of the reels that would matter.)

Still, I'd like to see them.
