Default August 17 Double Report

Capt Mike
Tides came in two hours early and an extra foot to boot. So we just went back in the woods and scored many LGMouth and a Potomac Pike. Crazy hookup on the Potomac Pike as it followed the toad in 40 feet and just in front of the boat no more than two feet it hooks up. We had two more hook up and shake the hook.

That last LGMouth was an easy 4.5 lb. Picked up a few more just before dark.

Capt Mike

Capt Dave
Walk on trip with some really nice guys started up at the cement pier but found no love there and came back in the creek. Headed way back and picked a few LGMouth way back as the tide continued to pour in. I will insert pics on Sunday.
Once again the frog was king.

We ran into Capt. Dave on Mattawoman Cr. Saturday, didn't find Capt. Mike - he was hiding out. It's nice to meet some of the fishermen that post here. Nice meeting you Dave!!

I prefer the path less traveled at all times. Best way to spot me is my big white Gloomis push pole.

Another Chuck Norris? He uses his big white push pole to stir the camp Fire... just ask Mississippiboy.
