Back on Mattawomen Creek for the summer double report
Nice cool weather and overcast skies should be a bonus for fishing. Except temps dropped 20 degrees. We found the fish but getting them to bite was another task. But first we always start with a sure thing...UHHHMMMYY Ribs and chicken..
Lots of half interested fish and few hook ups. I think the few fish left in the shallow warmer water just did not want to chase down a frog. We saw many that just ignored our baits. But the frogs did start singing right at dark. So I guess just a few hot days and it will be awesome. Capt Mike After some really good food we headed way back and found some agreeable pesky LGMouth in the shallow edges. The bandito... Great crew Capt Dave
