Frog vs Buzzbait - Round 1

Hit the water yesterday morning at about 6:00 am. There was some early morning rain but it eventually gave way to some clear and calm weather. We figured we'd try our luck with some topwater action. I pulled out a black Spro Dean Rojas Bronzeye frog and my fishing partner was throwing a black Booyah Buzzbait. We decided to have a little lure contest to see who could stick the biggest bass. The buzzbait proved too great a foe for the frog. The cast alone makes my partner deserving of the win.

Nice fish. I have never caught anything on a buzz, not even a single hit. I am going to order one of those hatcams next month.

I woulda thought the frog would have done better looking at how clear the water was...

Great video as always, Rando...it's always nice to have video proof that bass actually do exist, and i didn't just read about them somewhere....

hey nie video. i love it... although i thought the fro was gonna win... i was dissiapointed.... i gotta get myself one of those except in jr. same color though... anyway nice fish!!!!!
