Default Warning! Warning! Warning!

"Sometimes you have to pay the monkey."

So the show/expo/flea market season is in full swing. Friday I headed down to Richmond for the annual expo to check things out. Normally I have a booth or I'm helping another retailer at this event but didn't work out this year. Decent event. Not worse than last year but not better.

Here's a few pics. Danger! Danger! Danger! Some are a little blurry but you'll get the idea.....

A little something for Capt. Mike

And wasn't someone looking for a crappie bait like this two years ago???? Had a little tab or paddle on the tail. I thought it might be a triple tail but I wasn't too sure.....

On Sat I made a run up to the Antietam Battlefield (Maryland) area for a flea market and brought along all of my tubes, some plastics from various small companies that do custom work, and a bunch of jigs/chatterbaits. It was a good small show but I had too much competition on the jigs and couldn't come close to the low price some guys were asking. I did pretty well competing with the tubes and sold 300 before the show opened.

Here's a few pics of my Kaotik hoard that arrived last week.

Personally I picked up some jigs from Dave's Tournament. Grabbed some white grubs to use as trailers for the Punishers. Found an older Shimano Castaic reel for $15 that was in decent condition. And got a couple bags of some custom color fluke type baits. Not a huge haul but not bad. Had a good weekend and now starting to think about getting on the water real soon.....

Looks like you have some pretty good looking baits there. Wish there was some shows like that over here in Pittsburgh area. The sportmans show that is here doesn't really offer much in fishing items anymore. The last time there was a good show in this area is when the Bass Masters was in Pittsburgh.
