Some really bad news...

A new CABELA's will be opening up in the fall in Christiana, DE and it's only a 1/2 hour away. The one in Hamburg, PA is an hour away and that drive caused me to limit my visits. NOW, a 1/2 hour is nothing and I'll probably be there once or twice a month now. CRAP!

I may just go down and put in a job application.

Wonder how many guys like you will go to the new store? Is the sales tax lower in De.? I'm still pissed that BPS didn't open closer to Pittsburgh. Have fun and feed the monkey.

Delaware has NO sales tax so I probably will not visit Hamburg again, once it opens. Bad news, just so much bad news.

That is a bummer Bruce. I feel for ya. I cannot imagine the stress this is causing you. Getting a job there so that you can at least get the employee discount is a good idea though. That's the reason the old goats working at our BPS gave me for their working there.

Or if you just buy enough stuff there, you don't even have to work there to get the employee discount prices. They often send me cards for emp. disc. prices...at least during the winter months anyway.
