Universal Combo
For Christmas im asking for the new citica combo, but because i dont have a boat i dont really have a use for a bunch of lure specific combos. So if yall could fish with one baitcasting combo, what would it be. M or MH, 6'6" or 7'. It has to be capable of doing about anything, from topwaters to light c-rigs and jigs. I was thinking about 14lb line, would that do the trick for that range of uses. Any input is appreciated.

6-6 MH. IMO that is the best all-around length/action for bass fishing.

I pretty much agree with Reb, except you might oughta try 10 lb test or so. Sure you will have a couple breakoffs, but I think you gain more than you lose as opposed to 14.

6'6" MH, with a fast tip is what I use for most applications. 10, or 12 lb mono, or flouro, but I use 30lb braid with almost all plastics, except c rigs, for its sensitivity.
