Default Skeet Reese

I've been following the B.A.S.S. since I was a little kid. I don't believe I've ever seen someone dominate the trail like this in my life. Skeet won AGAIN today.

California Delta - 2nd (only missing the win by (1) once)
Clear Lake - 5th
Smith Mountain - 1st (wins by nearly 15 lbs.)
Pickwick - 5th
Guntersville - 1st (hit the century mark again)

Unreal. Congrats to Skeet!

He is def on fire this season . I don't think he'll slip out of the lead for angler of the year .

Lets see if he can hang on with end of the year season finale top 12 angler showdown .

Everyone talks about KVD, and for good reason since he is probably still he best to ever pick up a rod and reel. However when Skeet Reese is in a groove he is probably more dangerous than anyone on the trail.

Ever notice that with his Wileys on, his profile looks a lot like Joe Pesci?

Skeet is on fire this year, as consistency will pay off to win AOY. I sure hope he wins AOY because he deserves it. I had the pleasure to meet Skeet at D&R Sports center this spring and he was one of the nicest pro's I have ever met. He was walking around the shop helping beginning anglers pick out tackle. He also gave a long seminar on bass fishing and it was helpful with some tips, but it was like watching a comedy show the whole time. He was joking about other anglers on tour , and telling fish catch stories all day long. Skeet is a great guy that deserves to win AOY.

I hope he puts KVD back in his place, and it was getting kind of boring seeing KVD win all the time

I would bet that KVD, like most of the other "best of all time's" wants the competition. Strong rivalries make any true champion even better.

Skeet is an awesome fisherman, and one of my personal favorites. I hope he wins AOY as well.

Where exactly is KVDs' place? I am not a KVD fan but at the same time I don't really have anything against the guy. Like I said Skeet is just as dangerous or maybe more dangerous when he is in a groove as KVD, but KVD is still without a doubt the best angler on tour, regardless of what the standings for this year show.

I think they're letting him win. BASS might realize that KVD is loosing the fan base. Just kidding. Glad to see him on this streak. Let's see next year if he can continue at this pace.

KVD is like Dale Earnhardt Sr. was. He makes everbody step up their game if they want to compete. Skeet Reece has done that better than anybody in bass fishing.

The craziest thing is that in the next two tournaments, he has finished no worse than 9th on previous entries!

I woulda hafta say, right at the top. Not aure why SBK has a grudge against the guy.
It's not like KVD walks around with his nose in the air.
I guess some people can take issue with anyone

The irony is that KVD, Skeet, Jeff Kreit and all of those guys are good friends and would not wish anything bad on each other. KVD is a natural fishing machine and Skeet ranks right up there with him now. Skeet has settled into the game this year and is doing all the right things. KVD may be in a slump right now, but I would never count my chickens before they hatch as long that man is in the hen house! I respect them all, that's a tough bunch of guys to fish against and everyone of them fishing at a level way BEYOND what my capabilities will ever be!

I like Skeet Reese. He appears to be color blind, but otherwise is a nice guy.

If he's color blind, he must be really lucky to have picked such an awesome color combination. Regardless, he's a great fisherman.

You think Skeet isn't confident? When did confidence become a bad thing?

Ummm....KVD is in place. He is the best angler out there today. Skeet is having a great year and I love it, but putting KVD in his place he is not. Anyone can get on a run. KVD did it a couple of years ago winning three strait tourney's including the Pittsburgh Classic. Runs happen. KVD has been consistant for over 20 years.
