A few years ago I was diagnosed with a back issue. They put me on a drug called Neurontin. Neurontin was later taken off the market following a class action suite when several people committed suicide as a side affect of the drug is 'altered thinking'! So then they put me on a drug called Vioxx. Vioxx was subsequently taken off the market for causing heart attacks!

It's weird how the drugs doctors give us to save our life can also have side effects that can be just as threatening. My mother quit smoking using that Chantix, and one night we had to call the paramedics because it changed her thought process so severley that it made her down a whole bottle of 90 Xaenax.

I saw a commercial for some drug the other day that was listing the side effects and two of them were "thoughts of suicide" and "liver failure". How does the FDA let something like that be prescribed???

I can't tell you much about thoughts of suicide cause the one time I had them, they quickly changed to thoughts of revenge. But I can tell you, liver failure aint no picinic.

Because the FDA gets paid billions or maybe even trillions to allow the drug to go onto the market, and they justify it by using statistics that if people understood the public and government wouldn't allow it.

Thanks gang for ALL the thoughts and prayers. Lisa is doing MUCHO better now. I think she is FINALLY on her way to becoming her "old" (no pun intended so don't start nuthin,lol) self.
