Today record high...54 degrees
Yesterday one short of record... 53 degrees

Oh ya I went fishing both days plus the day earlier.

First day fished river, nothing.. I mean NOTHING! Plus lost a couple lures...
Next day found open pond water. Most of it, the pond , all ready frozen.
Felt slow fishing would be the trick. Drop shot...nothing, jerk bait worked painfully slow...nothing, shakey head jigging...nothing, LIPLESS CRANK

three 13 -14 inchers.
Today 5 on lipless basically same size. I think I can safely say my season is now over. Waterboy I'm officially now in your bullpen patiantly waiting for spring.

Yeah, 52 degrees here yesterday when I walked our dog after work -- only needed a sweatshirt...no gloves and no stocking cap. Today when we went walking after work it was upper 20s for temps and constant 25-35 mph winds and light snow. Had to break out all the gear, including the full face mask! I have the morning dog-walking shift tomorrow, so I'll be enjoying the double digit BELOW zero wind chills with our hound at 4:30 a.m. Can't wait.

Yep, it's taking a turn downward here too tomorrow. Near 50 for the past week. But thats all comming to an end with cold, snow and strong winds. Yuckie poo! Yes, I said yuckie poo! Joedog, glad ya got to get out and catch a few. ^5 man!
