Default A fluke? Nope

Finished up the Cape Cod vacation catching a small summer fluke off the small bay we were fishing. Same spot I caught one two years ago on the same bait. De ja vu all over again! Got some pics coming!

Hit the Potomac river on Weds and caught a couple limits with best 5 totalling over 10lbs. This week the magic baits were the Sweet Beaver, Magic Swimmer, and Yozuri Hardcore Drum. I also took a couple pics too of the graveyard or what is known as Mallows Bay. I'll try and get them posted.

Going back out this weekend for club tournament since I can't find anything over 2.5lbs there's no sense fishing the $$ tournaments. Should be a good time anyways.

I really enjoy the bragging board and seeing what people are doing and putting it to 'em. Sounds like a good trip.

Here's a pic of the small fluke/flounder caught just off the shallow drop off on a 1oz Kastmaster. The other pics show the channel and the drop. Didn't catch much but one guy picked up two small blues while throwing a larger Kastmaster across the channel to the rock pile on the other side. Saw another blue caught and a couple scup. Even saw one fish that looked like a small cod.

They have to be 18.5" to keep in MA. Mine was around 15-16" so it got released. My father caught two that were around 24" last year on the same spot and I caught one keeper there two years ago.

Posted the Graveyard pics and the Magic Swimmer pics on a seperate post.
