Was that catch and release, or did he make the frying pan?

Congrats waffle, you are now the reining KING of the smallest fish so far. Well done my friend, well done.

Oh yea, we need an exact measurement of the fish.

Well I sent it in to the gaming commission and thier arguing about it being ''foul hooked''....So I may not be able to claim my record.lol

Bama I believe this piglet is about 3/4''in length and 6mm in girth.

But on a serious note,I thought it was pretty strange to see him this small giving the season?

Are you 100% positive it was a Largemouth, Waffle?

A Largemouth fry typically reaches an inch length in its first 3 weeks. Maybe some freakish Momma bass decided to spawn again in November.

About 98%..lol...I mean I could be wrong but the mouth opened as large as its head,it has a lateral line running along the sides....
Im not fimilar with baby bass this small...This was out of a private pond that only hold bass, blue, perch, and cats...That we know of.

The only thing that I can think of for a freak spawn is the weather here in TX....Some weeks can go from 30 to 70 overnight.Thats gotta be confusing for them.

I think you autta have it mounted and then stick it inside a locket to give to the woman in your life to remember you by.

If he does that, all of us might need something to remember him by.

Now why you going to let your crankbait go and eat all those future records.

J/K looks, like a heck of a fighter there.

Wow. That's just a tad smaller than the first bass I ever caught!
