Default A few from G'ville last week

Only double we could pull off, that's our guide Mike on the right.

My best bass that was actually weighed @ 5-11. I really wanted one over 6 pounds, maybe in May.

The top pic was from the Islands near Alred Marina, and was caught on Tuesday - when it was NICE. The bottom pic is from Town Cr., on Friday and it was COLD.

Maybe the fishing wasn't on fire, but it still looks like you made out okay. 5-11 is a big bass anywhere.

We'll have to put our considerable heads together in May and find the really big ones.

Bryce, the trip was a lot of fun anyway. We certainly didn't catch a lot, but we did catch some quality fish. The day with the guide was best, and gave us a foundation to improve our techniques for this time of year. Anyone fishing strange water, and can swing it - a good guide can make a difference it speeding up the learning process and finding fish.

I didn't get to hook up with John as I had hoped, timing just didn't work out. I did get to meet Geremy (Gbassman) at Mink Cr on Monday. He offered some tips and it was great meeting him.

I'm really looking forward to Wheeler now and meeting some more of you then. I'll be contacting some of the attendees and finalizing the cabin arrangements later this week. The 3 BR is SET. The others need to be also and we'll get that done very soon.
