Nice day for the last of Jan.
It was a cold morning but warmed up nice in the afternoon. A friend and I got out and tried our luck at catching some trout. I tried my luck, and my friend caught 3, this one being the biggest. I don't keep many fish, but this one came home with me and made my wife and I a great lunch.

That's a nice size trout! They stock them in city ponds around here in the winter, they are good eating!

Good looking trout, great looking LUNCH!
Do your stockers reproduce once released. A pond I fish I'm told the stockers don't reproduce and so they stock every year. The stockers start at nine inchers. Thats a size min. here. Rainbows.
