Default Super Knots

I have found a knew product that will make the knot the strongest place in the line. It is called UV knot sense and its made by Loon, a fly fishing company. I have used it on fly fishing knots and never break at the knot anymore. You just apply a little to the knot while it is inside, or out of direct sunlight. The minute it is hit by the suns rays it cures and smooths over the knot, leaving a smooth knot that is still small and very strong. Just thought I would share a good little secret.

Don't know if it was just me, but the link didn't work.

BID, sounds really neat, got a link to it?

Looks pretty cool IB! My little bro could use some. He's getting lots of knot fails... Or else I'm gonna have to start tying his knots again!

We use the same technology on some fiber optic tipping. I have not seen it used for fishing, but it makes sense. I will say that you would need to make sure that you have a good knot to begin with or else you now make a bad knot far more brittle. And, if that is the case, then it may not help much afterall. Good concept though.

the pro soft bait glue that kevin has as a sponsor (i think... he is affiliated in some way) works wonders on knots too.

That same product I use on deer hair poppers to stiffin the popping cup of my big Waldorf bugs.
