Inexpensive fish/depth finder help
I am looking for an inexpensive fish/depth finder to go on my inflatable pontoon boat. Any suggestions. I am not looking to mount it onto a trolling motor because I may not be using the trolling motor in some lakes.

They also have that exact thing but uses 8 AA batteries. I think that one may do the trick but I wonder how long the AA batteries will last. I don't mind using rechargeable batteries and having to recharge them after each day I use them as long as they last a full day. |

Have you seen the Eagle® Cuda™ 168 Fish Finder that uses 8 AA batteries? http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st..._SearchResults It is $20 more but I won't need a big trolling motor battery. This is an option ONLY if the batteries will last me at least 4 hours. |

What about the Fishin' Buddy? Do any of you guys think this would this be a reliable fish/depth finder for my pontoon?
