LAKE BUCHANAN: Water clear; 52 degrees; 1015.51':
Largemouth are fair to good along creek ledges in 8'-15' w/stumps and downed timber crawfish Craw Tubes (www.cremelure.com), Carolina rigged watermelon/red Snap Back (www.terminatorlures.com) lizards pumpkin Scoundrel worms rigged wacky style on a weedless "K" Wacky Hook (www.falconlures.com). Bluffs are still producing using suspending jerkbaits along transitional rock areas close to feeder creeks. Stripers are good around Garrett Island trolling white/chartreuse 1/2 oz. Hyper Striper jigs (www.kgenterprise.com) and plastic trailers and tight-lining live bait in 30' of water. White Bass are fair to good in major creeks vertically jigging 1/4 oz. Pirk Minnows, 1/8 oz. chrome Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) and 2" Lit'l Fishie Shads.
