Spent my bps gift cards on a Skeet Reese Revo to go with my new crankbait rod. Also a shot of my line up for spring.

Tackle Klaus is coming tomorrow, if the roads don't get too icy, since there's a new size RC and three new colors to choose from. Got to make a run and take a look and see if they're still on sale. If not then ol' Klaus will be at the Richmond show Jan 15th.

Wow, that Reese combo looks pretty sharp. Never dreamed that yellow and black would go so good together. That looks tight.

That's one great looking combo, man! I bet it's pretty light too.

And is that other reel on the SR rod a PQ?

Thats an old shimano curado sf on a castaway east texas grass rake. Thats a loomis flipping rod with a revo stx hs on it. The next one up from the grass rake is a castaway spinnerbait rod with a shimano chronarch on it. That reel is awesome.

I love my old Castaways. I started to purchase the grass rake a many of times, but never followed up. And I have been begging my buddy to sell me his Castaway spinnerbait rod for quite a few years. I told him the least he could do was will it to me. I will even get it notarized to save him the hassle.

yeah the old castaways are awesome. They have a shop in my local area that still has some old good ones on the shelf. I think they have a grass rake.
