Default Baitmonkey loves ebay!

After catching my first jig fish a while ago, I've been throwing the jig a lot, and I've caught some fish on it. most of the fish seem to be bigger than what we normally catch at this reservoir. I've been fishing it on a 6'6" MH rod. It's not quite as long as I'd like to make longer casts, but it sets the hook decent.

So, I've been browsing eBay, craigslist (no luck at all there), and forums for a jig rod since I can't afford a new one. I had a bit more than a 150.00 budget of money I've made doing odd jobs for my grandma, mowing grass at home, and watching my cousin for my uncle. anyways, I figured if I'm looking at used rods, I could probably get one that's worth more than 150.

About three days ago, I found a G. Loomix IMX 7' H jig/pitching rod. it's starting bid was 125. This morning it was up to 148. grr... short story is, I got the rod for 160 (the grass needs mowing, so that should cover it. I got the bid in with 3 seconds to spare.

I am now the owner of a very lightly used G.loomis IMX rod (retail 285)... damn monkey, but yay for ebay... I think... Saving 120 bucks sure is expensive...

Sorry for the long story, lol, I'm excited.

BB
