Monkey's on a Roll
I knew as soon as Bryce posted his fly rod thread that the monkey would soon be after me as well. Then after a few more Monkey threads, the monkey forced to go to BPS.
Daiwa, of course! Made in Japan, good quality. So the monkey wins again... BB

Scared me, I just knew you got a fly rod. Congrats on the new reel.

What a joke....the thing is probably so light you can't even bludgeon someone to death with it.

Whew, for a moment I thought Bryce might have enticed you over to the PINK side............. Sharp little reel, that's a small frame going to use it for drop shotting?
I'm headed to the Eastern Sportsman's Show in Harrisburg in a few minutes. Monkey has bitten me pretty hard lately, I need him to back off a little today. A lot of new boats at the show and I don't want to end up in INTENSIVE CARE........ |

Nice reel Anthony. I love Daiwa's spinning reels!

It was a touch decision between this and the 5.6oz Pflueger Patriarch 9525. Quote:
I've really been liking the Daiwa spinning reels lately too. I wish they had something a little lighter though, without spending $280 for the Fuego... or $500 for the Steez, lol. BB

You got minkeyfied in a good good way pal. I'd go with 10 pound braid. It would be so thin I wouldn't see it.

Don't you worry about wanting to buy it. They'll be long gone from BPS by the time I write a review of this reel. BB
