Default Lake Martin in Alabama

Anyone fished there? Just wondering what kind of patterns are normal there at various times of the year. I got some rich in-laws who have a house on the lake. Caught some huge blue gill from their boat dock last time I was there but no bass. I don't know for sure when I'll be going back but it will be some time this year.Just wondering if anyone had any recomendations.

I live 40 miles away and avoid it. Very clear, pretty lake. I consider it God's gift to alabama jetski owners. I did fish the tallapoosa entering the lake last week and caught a few crappie, white bass and a lm throwing a tiny chatterbait, but where the river enters is different from the rest of the lake.

Not a lot of big bass come out of Lake Martin. I won a small tournament there with 5 fish none over 2 pounds. 3 were barely 12 inches.

I've read that winter time is when most people catch alot of bass. I've always heard fishing is very tough there. You guys pretty much confirmed my assumptions. Thanks for the info.
