Default Mud flaps

I have a new boat and would like to fish a couple tournaments that require traveling on gravel roads. Does anyone use one of the hitch mounted mud flaps like the Rock Tamer? I would like to fish these tournaments but I'm not willing to throw rocks on my boat, been down that $800 repair road before. Thanks in advance guys

I haven't used the Rock Tamers or any mud flaps like them, thankfully I don't have to pull my boat down gravel roads. But if I did have to pull it on gravel I would certainly look hard at the Rock Tamers.
