Default From river to reservoir

The transformation is in full swing. Got the gas motor off last week and Saturday I ordered my torqeedo, bought some new batteries, and cleaned the boat up. More pics to come when I get the motor on. Should have it by the end of the week!

For those of you that aren't familiar with the motor.....nothing special but my reservoirs closes to home are electric only and are great fisheries!

That is very cool. I love those motors..

Two years ago I saw those at Timonium Show and considered going all green with my backwater charters.

Now I just push pole more.

Keep the pics coming.

Hey BMJ way to be! I briefly looked at the website but didn't see battery requirements? Real world run times? I fish some places that you can't get to without 4-wd....no ramp whatsoever...real gnarly places where a light easy to launch boat is key. Is it 12-24-36-48v??

Thanks bama!

Ken, its a 48v which I am running on 4 group 31 12v batteries. As far as run times I believe the website says 2 hrs continuance full throttle, half throttle 16 hrs there was some thing in between but I forget bottom line ill never run out of juice so long as I don't push my limits on long runs. I'm pumped to get it.out.

The lakes:

Thanks....I have a connection on some Golf Cart batterys and was considering a 6-8's or a 8-6's config, but man are those things heavy. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want the "juice" you gotta have the weight.

I like the looks of those lakes especially #1

Very nice rig and I would love to fish a non-tidal area but my next day off is in October. Booked solid this year except a few vacation days for the 30 th honeymoon. Oh and a few VA tidewater trips.

Sweet smallie... too.

The one guy at the BASS EXPO show who had that motor said the prop will break if you hit a rock. So maybe a spare prop is a good thing to carry.
