Default Can't Find And Wannntttttttttttt

Bought a reel off of ebay and need to know where and who made this reel. Its a Mirado casting reel (a replica of a Shimano calcutta). Gotta admit this reel is probably smoother and I can gurantee you will outcast a shimano. ZOOK BEHAVE. Does ANYONE know who makes these or where I can find em at. Ive done several searches and nuttin. HELLLLLLLPPPPPPP. This reel when I bought it has been used for a couple of seasons according to the previous owner and I cant beleive how smooth and the casting distance that I can obtain with this reel. If ANYONE knows who made these or where I can get some more of them give me a holler.

Not the same reel perkdog but at least maybe I amon the trail. I do appreciate the link. I bought this reel because the add said Calcutta look alike and I do like shimano's. ZOOK BEHAVE The reel is gold with the holes drilled incertain places to reduce weight with a 4 bearing configuration and a 5-1 gear ratio. Unbeleivable how smooth and the casting distance is unheard of. I couldnt beleive how far a cast I could make. With this reel I gurantee you I added at least 30ft to an average cast. I know this sounds like alot but I couldnt beleive it either.

"Mirado

This is a Korean made knock-off of a Shimano Calcutta . Drags and gears are not as good, but it is half the price. I have heard both good and bad reports about these reels. They were hot and heavy in some local tackle shops for a while;I don't see them around much anymore. " -Tunatoys

found that from a messageboard while doing a search for info.

another little piece of possible info "Bob Sweeney, of Mirado Rods and Reels"

other than that..its looking like a non-existent company.
