don't even think about trying to get a sponsor yet. You got lots to learn before you can start fishing tournaments from what it sounds like.

What kind of tourneys have you been fishing? And with what organization? What age group are ya in? Sorry man, but from the way you act on the website you sound like you don't know much about bass fishing and are just here asking questions we've heard a million times. Anyways, just cause you've fished five tourneys doesn't mean you have to go looking for a sponsor.

A good way to get sponsors is to first fish all the time, you have to be good and have a few wins to get some sponsors. What you should do when ready to get sponserships is first choose local sponsers, tackle shops, ect. and products that you actually already use and like. Then you want to make a portofolio with information about your self, your tournament experience, wins or top finishes, and include some information on how you can benefit the sponsor and how you are gonna help them sell more products, you want to find out who is in charge of recieving the information and send it to them, but you need to let them know how you will benefit them, otherwise it will be tough. But remember, you need a lot of tournament experience and a few wins or top finishes dont hurt either! Good luck!

Get a Degree in marketing backed up with something that you can make a living plus $30,000 a year to fish professionally and also have time to do so. In the mean time fish as much as you possibly can, and when you cant do it read about it, dream about it or think about it.

Well Im sure if BPS is so close and you could tell them to sell your lures, then why dont you just go to BPS and tell them to sponsor you? If it works let me know, I could use a sponsor for my daily fishing.

I have told you time and time agian, You DONT need a sponsor, just fish now and once you get some publicityy they will pick you up. You have to be presentable, talk well in public, spell well, and be consistant. i doubt you get 10 grand in tournaments no offence...BFL pays that much!!! And your only 15. Just wait till the times right, i have one sponsor, and they picked me up because i picked them up. Wait.

actaully i was sponsered once. they came to me. i won junior angler of the year 4 times, 3 first place creek tourny's. placed 4 times in the 72 hour tourny's-open division-i did all of this before i was 17.still retained the sponser till i left the area in 94. 2 first place in the through ice trout open. problem was these were all trout tourny's. still could not beat my uncle in the open tourny's -he was the one who taught me how to catch trout.
