does anyone have any advice on how to rig and fish the zoom horny toad on a small lake

You put a hook in it, tie it to your line, throw it away from you and then bring it back? Wash, Rinse, Repeat as necessary?

I texas rig them weightless, then I throw them ontop of weed mats or pull it right off the bank into stuff etc etc.. Never had much luck with them on open water.

i typically use them waited and just cast up and down the banks

i have caught some tiny 1-2 pounders and have caught some bigger 4-5-6 pounders

im just trying to find more and bigger fish
