i am in severe pain!

i had a tooth way in the back of my mouth start giving me some trouble. the dentist gave me 2 choices, i could have a root canal done, or he could pull it. so i decided to have it pulled, i mean after all it was way in the back where nobody can see it and plus i could still bite fishing line without it. anyways he pulled it about 20 minutes ago and the numbness in my mouth is gone already! i don't know how long it should have stayed numb but i gotta believe it wore off a little soon. now if you have ever seen the roots on mollers (sp?) before then you know what kinda holes i have left gushing blood in my mouth. i can't chew skoal for 24 hrs, no alcohol for 24 hrs either which i could really use some alcohol right now to help ease the pain but all i have is these weak a$$ pain killers that the doc gave me a script for. they don't do a whole lot for the pain but i found out if i take 2 of them i don't give a rats a$$ if it hurts or not. anyways just thought i would share with you guys how my vacation is going.

Well, you can't chew and you can't drink alcohol.

I guess that leaves hard drugs. Have at it. Remember, its the doctor's fault.

Just look at a picture of Zook it will at least knock you out for an hour or two. and repeat as much as needed. ha ha...............honk, honk!

That really sucks. It will be better tomorrow. I know that don't help for tonight, but maybe take a couple Tylanol PM's and go to bed early and sleep it off.

When I read the title I was afraid it was about teeth. I just found out I have to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. One is into the sinus and one into the jaw bone so I'll be eating soup for 30 days after the surgery that isn't scheduled until Jan. 25. There is quite a possibility I will never regain feeling in my jaw since one is also into a nerve. Let me tell you kids to get this done early, you don't want this pain!
C-Rig, if the pain meds didn't knock me out I'm afraid I'd be into the sauce anyway to make up the difference.

well i made it through the night and i am back in business. bender, i was really thinking of having a few beers but the doc said that would screw with my blood clot and increase my chances of dry socket. so i was a good boy other than a few dips of skoal. now i am back to being my normal pain in the a$$, just ask my wife.

Get buy some Moltrin and take 4 at a time. Thats 800 milligrams and should cure any pain that remains.
