Trolling Motor Question...
Hey guys, right now I have a 36lb. trolling motor on my Bass Tracker Pro 17. It clearly isnt big enough to push me on a windy day, and I need something bigger. I am wondering, what poundage could I possibly go with that will be able to get me through the windy days with ease?? Thanks!!

the biggest you can get and stay with 12 volts is 55lbs. i have a 43lb motorguide on my 19' G3 and it does good enough. now if you wanna talk 24 volt setup you can get one that'll be a problem in a no wake zone

Go with a 24 volt, will run alot longer and use less power to fight winds. I have a MK Maxxum 80lb and I love it
