Fishing Lake Watauga
Ok, so i had to change my plans from fishing Lake James in NC to fishing Lake Watauga in Tenn. I found a great deal on a cabin on the lake with a dock & a hot tub. I have only fished this lake once before, and that was a very long time ago, does anyony have any good advice for fishing this lake, like lure choices, what parts of the lake might be good this time of the year, i mean as i remember this is a very deep lake if it is the one i am thinking of, i fished 4 or 5 lakes the last time i was down that way. any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance,

i have heard wat-tug being one of eastern tenns toughest lakes..remember good fishing tends to be in the fall and spring. winter and summer can be mind bendinly tough.. if it reeks during the day try it at night. seems all the blue ridge mountain lakes i have ever fish have an off the hook top water bite at night..
