h#LL YES!!!
LSA,God yes you being in Texas. You dont have to get all fancy in my book
with the colors.blk, white, and chartruse is all you really need I think and use a trailer on the back.JB and myself use the fat albert grubs made buy Zoom.Target lay downs, weed edges, stumps, docks, pads, tree over hangs, ..ect.Cast past your target and sweep it right up against the target or bump into it that will really piss them off And when it does hold on.Remember DONT set the hook right away.usaully 2 seconds is good. You have to put yourself in that I just shot gunned to beers kinda mode (delayed) reaction... .DONT forget the frog!!!!!!! Lonestar, Hunt yourself down a 3/8 oz. Cavitron buzzbait. Compare it to any other buzzbait throughout the year and please let me know the brand name if you find one that is a better fish catcher than the Cavitron. Ivan

LoneStar-it is getting to be the time. The water we fished today was 60. Above that can be killer for buzzbaits. Denny is right-no need to get fancy-white, chartreuse or a combo during the day, black at night. I ALWAYS use a trailer hook on a buzzbait-bass are nortorious for short striking a buzzbait-grabbig the skirt and not the hook-and a trailer hook will get the short strikers.
Welcome to the forum, BTW-always glad to see a fellow Texan join

Check out "Boggerman" buzz baits. They ride true (vs. lay on the side). They have done well (for me anyway).
I have appx. 30 buzzbaits but these are the best that I've found.

I Use Black Buzzbaits In The Day Time Too Awesome Results. Lonestar Pnj Is Right Bout The Cavitron The Best Buzzbait. But Lunker Lure Makes A Great One Too.
