Default Christmas Present Suggestion

If somebody is asking what to get you for Christmas if you respool a lot ask them for a line stripper. I use one made by Berkley:

Battery operated and makes quick work of getting the line off your reel.

I use the same one and I wouldn't consider myself a frequent respooler. Nevertheless, this is a marvelous accessory and I'll never again strip line off a reel by hand.

any amount of line, all it does is pull it off the spool onto a pile at your feet

I use the same one also Reb. Great suggestion though, as usual.

I'm on my third or fourth one, I wear the rubber grips out, and can't ever seem to find the replacement parts that come with it!

The last one I got with the line spooling station, that's a nice doo-dad as well, and they come with the un-spooler!

I'm with dampeoples. I got mine with this spooling station. Best $20 I've spent.

I'd love to find a live stripper under my Christmas tree! (If I HAD a tree)

What....LINE stripper??...never mind.
