Thumbs up Another Lake Tarpon Weekend

Saturday am on the 3rd cast of the 1/2 oz blue/chrome Frenzy lipless crankbait ( feel like a nascar driver getting all the sponsers in ) I hooked up with a nice 5lb 8oz . That will quickly wake you up . followed up with a 2 1/2 lb er . It went down hill from there , not a bad day at all . Ended up with 4 keepers and a couple that got away .
Sunday morning the wind had picked up a little , moved them around a bit . Took a few minutes to find them . By 10 am I had boated 5 keepers and had my heart broke by one that was inches away from my partners out stretched hand and seemed to spit out the 2 treble hooked lure . You know what lure it was , the one that catches everything in the boat and somehow comes right out of their mouth after you try to keep his head down and lead him to the boat . Oh well , just another story of the one that got away .
My partner tried to horse one in that was a close 4 lber and he came off the worm hook . Guess he got in to much of a hurry to get him in the boat , easy to do when your flipping , things happen Real fast .
Well another week of work till next weekend . Glad its a 3 dayer for me . Catch ya later , Keep on crankin , Randy
