Default MD and the Alabama Rig

The decision was made not allow it with more than two hooks or two lures with hooks.

Seems logical.

im pretty sure in illinois only 3 hooks are allowed at any 1 time, but of course i seen some D-bag using all 5 on a Bama rig, wheres the DNR when you need em? personally id never fish that thing, looks kinda stupid in my opinion, regardless if it catches fish or not..

Its 3 in Tn,5 above us in ky,regardless of where i fish I use my 3 rig providing its legal to do so,where im at.
It is a tool more use full on schooling fish than as a search bait, but a tool none the less.
Like change it always occurs it may not always be better, you also may not like it but occurs none the less.

The thing of it is it is obviously not designed to be fished in these kind of situations. Who would try to cast a bait with 5 hooks and 5 wires into a shallow grass flat or a dead fall? The bait is made to catch suspended or point oriented fish in open water....sure you can toss it in a tree, but it just doesn't make sense to this guy. With all that being said I doubt anyone who wants to fish this rig is gonna give a Damn about what MD DNR has to say about its legality.
