Default NEIGHBORHOOD POND

It appears I have been leaving right beside a pond for the past five years and it contains alot of bass. The pond is fished only by people that live in the neighborhood. I have seen alot of people fishing it but never have seen anyone catch anything. The other day I asked my neighbor about the fishing there and he told me it was loaded with bass. I haven't had an oppurtunity to try it out yet but my neighbor has been catching four to five pound bass like crazy. Another neighbor of mine caught an eight pounder there a few days ago. They say there using a weightless worm, but will pretty much bite anything you throw. Wished I had took the time to ask about this pond sooner.

I'm in a similar situation.

These types of ponds are often full of bass because hardly anybody fishes them!

Describe the cover and such a little. Lilypads? Hydrilla? Trees/logs?

There are some falling trees in the middle and it has patches of moss on the water. One side of the pond has some type a overhanging trees. The water is kind of dingy most of the time.

Can you possibly get a small boat into the pond? I'd skip baits right underneath the overhanging trees in the heat of the day. For ponds like this there is no better lure that I have used than a 7.5in red shad culprit... awesome when t-rigged.

Hula, I don't know if boats are allowed. I actually don't even know who owns it but everyone in the neighborhood fishes it. Could you possibly show a picture of a red shad culprit. because I have no idea what that is.
