Default Lake Hudson - Cinco De Mayo

What a way to celebrate the fifth of May, huh!?

Water temps were straddling 65F almost anywhere in the lake; weeds are almost choking out the past-productive area, although the golden lure can still be fished. Dad hung two on it in a matter of two hours. As you will see, he doen't always get the biggun...

The lizard bite is also worth its time! Anyone who's seen Hudson knows it's a mud slough, so I figured the Zoom 'Blue Flash' 6" lizard would be all up to the job. Yep!

Ended up with four bass, two 14's and two 10's. I also lost one one the 'golden lure', he was pullin' 15" easy...

Wanna know the 'golden lure'? Alright.....

Let it upload, then I'll post. Darn Dial-Up!

I got some more today. Two 15"s and numerous other lizard bites. I'll post them after they finish uploading.

Wanna meet up around, say 10:00 AM, Anthony?

Hey, Buzzie, after talking, we've decided not to go to the car show we were going to sat, and fish then instead of sunday cause we've got mother's day and a cousins b-day party to go to.

I don't know what you're doing Saturday, but maybe you could still come. We're going to Cabela's to get a couple 'golden lures'

I'm also thinking about getting some bubblegum colored plastics or the the blue you were using. And 10:00?!?! What's with that dude, when we went up there, we were there at 8:00 Why so late??

What kind of blades do you use on your spinnerbaits? Also what color skirts?
